Oscar’s Affordable, Easy-to-Use, Consumer-Focused Health Insurance Plans for Individuals & Families Are Now Open For Enrollment in Nine States
- Individuals and families residing in select counties in nine states -- Arizona, California, Florida, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Tennessee, and Texas -- can begin enrolling in Oscar plans on and off the health care exchange for 2019 coverage.
- Oscar plans offer unique perks and benefits, including 24/7 telemedicine, a consumer-friendly smartphone app, and a dedicated Concierge team to help direct members to high-quality care.
- Members in every state will have access to integrated networks of excellent, board-certified doctors affiliated with top local hospital systems.
- This will be Oscar’s sixth consecutive year serving the individual health insurance market.
- Individuals can purchase plans through licensed insurance brokers, healthcare.gov, hioscar.com, or by calling Oscar’s sales team at (855) 672-2794.
- 83% of members have created an online profile
- 72% of members have contacted their Concierge team via call or a secure message
- Nearly half of members have downloaded Oscar’s mobile app
- New Market: Maricopa County members will have access to providers through Abrazo and HonorHealth.
- Members in Los Angeles and Orange County will have access to Providence Health Network, UCLA Health, and St. Joseph Hoag Health, as well as Citrus Valley Health Partners and Keck Medicine of USC through our expansion into east Los Angeles.
- New Market: Orlando members in Lake, Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties will have access to Florida Hospital and HCA.
- New Market: Detroit members in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Washtenaw counties will have access to Tenet’s Detroit Medical Center and several hospital systems within the Together Health Network, including Trinity and Ascension.
- Members in Bergen, Middlesex, Essex, Hudson, Monmouth, Ocean, Passaic, Union, Morris, Somerset, Mercer, Sussex, Hunterdon, and Warren counties will have access to Qualcare’s network.
- Members in New York, Kings, Queens, Bronx, Richmond, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, and Rockland counties will have access to Mount Sinai, Montefiore, and Catholic Health Services of Long Island.
- Cleveland members in Cuyahoga, Summit, Lorain, Medina, Lake counties will have access to Cleveland Clinic.
- New Market: Columbus members in Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin and Licking counties will have access to Mount Carmel.
- Nashville members in Cheatham, Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford, Wilson, Sumner, Trousdale, Robertson, and Montgomery counties will have access to Saint Thomas Health, TriStar Health, and the Humana ChoiceEPO network.
- New Market: Memphis members in Shelby, Tipton, Fayette, Lauderdale, and Haywood counties will have access to Tenet’s Saint Francis and Baptist Memorial.
- San Antonio members in Bexar and Comal counties will have access to Baptist Hospital.
- Austin members in Travis, Williamson, and Hays counties will have access to Seton Healthcare Family and the Austin Regional Clinic.
- New Market: El Paso County members will have access to The Hospitals of Providence.
